1 Location, 1 Amazing script, and 12 Angry Men
I watched 12 Angry Men the other night. It has been sitting on my shelf for a long time, but never gotten round to watching it. The story line was simple, 99% of the film was shot in a pretty much featureless room. Furthermore, it was very heavy on dialogue. Three points screenwriting "gurus" advise against, yet it was one of the best films I have seen in a long time.

Rescue Dawn : Werner Herzog and Christian Bale's Vietnam Movie
This looks really awesome! I have not seen a bad Christian Bale in a long time, so I am hoping this will be no exception. Werner Herzog directs this Vietnam story based the real life story he documented in his 1997 documentary Little Dieter Needs to Fly. The main story involves a Navy pilot, played by Bale, who is captured after his plane is shot down in Vietnam.
